Vince Zampella, Dies in an LA Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The renowned industry figure died after his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
