The House investigative committee has published a set of roughly 70 photos obtained from the property of late convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third disclosure from a cache of over 95,000 photos the body has secured from Epstein's estate. It contains pictures of quotes from the book Lolita written across a female's body, and redacted pictures of female overseas passports.

This release comes mere hours before the 19 December deadline for the DOJ to release every records connected to its probe into Epstein.

"These latest photographs bring up more queries about precisely what the Justice Department has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Images Disclosed

A number of the photographs made public on this week feature Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky aboard a personal aircraft; Bill Gates positioned beside a female whose features is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the newest affluent, powerful individuals to be photographed in Epstein's estate photographs published by the House Oversight Committee - formerly released photos also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Appearing in the photographs is does not constitute indication of any misconduct, and several of the photographed individuals have stated they were in no way implicated in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a statement accompanying the image release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not supply background information or timings for the images.

"Photos were chosen to provide the public with openness into a representative sample of the photographs received from the estate, and to provide understanding into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally alarming behavior," the statement says.

The release also includes multiple images of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in dark ink across various areas of a woman's body, including her torso, foot, hip, and spine. Lolita narrates the story of a adolescent who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

An example of a quote from the work scrawled across a female's torso states, "Lolita's name: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of photos of female identification and identification documents from countries worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the IDs, like names and birth dates, is redacted but the House Oversight Committee said in a announcement that the passports are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were interacting with".

Another image shows Epstein seated at a desk closely surrounded by three women whose faces have been obscured - one individual has her hand on Epstein's torso under his garment, and another individual is crouching to examine a close-by computer. Epstein seems to be assisting the third put on a wristband.

An additional photograph released is a capture of digital messages from an unknown sender who says they have been sent "several females" and are requesting "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Release Arrives Prior to DOJ Deadline

The body has thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously graphic and mundane," its statement on this week noted.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and records the Epstein estate's representatives submitted to the committee are distinct from what is commonly called "the Epstein documents". That material are papers within the Department of Justice's possession connected to its independent investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump enacted recently, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its documents. The scope of what is found in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's likely that much of the content will be significantly censored, akin to House Oversight Committee releases
